Medical Korea Service is not a medical provider. The patient–physician relationship is established directly between you and your treating specialist.
Medical Korea Service Co., Ltd. ("MKS") is a licensed International Patient Facilitator (License No. A-2014-01-01-1414, issued by the Mayor of Seoul). MKS is not a hospital, clinic, medical institution, or healthcare provider of any kind. MKS does not employ physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, or any other licensed medical personnel.
MKS does not own, operate, control, or supervise any hospital or medical facility. The hospitals and specialists within our network are independent third parties holding their own Korean medical licenses and operating under their own clinical authority.
The services MKS provides are administrative and coordinative only, including:
MKS does not engage in any activity that requires a Korean medical license.
The patient–physician relationship is established directly between you and your treating specialist. This relationship begins when:
MKS is not a party to this relationship. MKS does not:
Nothing communicated by MKS — whether on this website, in WhatsApp messages, email, or in person — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. We do not advise:
All such determinations require direct clinical assessment by a licensed physician. If MKS communicates information from a specialist, we are acting as a courier of that information — not its author.
MKS makes no guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding:
Each patient is biologically unique. Healing varies. Aesthetic perception is subjective. Surgical outcomes depend on factors including but not limited to: patient anatomy, age, skin condition, lifestyle, post-operative compliance, and biological response.
You are responsible for disclosing accurately and completely all relevant medical history, including:
Failure to disclose accurately may increase your risk of complications and may void protections under your treating provider's professional liability framework. MKS cannot assess medical risk and relies on the treating specialist for clinical clearance.
MKS does not provide emergency medical services. In the event of a medical emergency:
MKS coordinators are available during posted hours and will respond as quickly as possible outside of those hours, but we are not staffed to provide real-time emergency response.
Aftercare is provided by your treating specialist and hospital, not by MKS. MKS may coordinate aftercare appointments, translation, and logistics during the agreed coordination period. You are responsible for:
The treating specialist is the appropriate point of contact for any clinical question regarding healing, complications, or revision.
You acknowledge that every surgical and medical procedure carries inherent risk, including but not limited to:
These risks exist regardless of the surgeon's skill or the hospital's standard. They are inherent to surgery itself. You should discuss the specific risks of your procedure in detail with your treating specialist before signing surgical consent.
MKS reserves the right to decline or discontinue coordination services if, in our reasonable judgment:
This judgment is exercised in good faith and is not a substitute for clinical assessment by a licensed physician.
By engaging Medical Korea Service, you confirm that you have read this Medical Disclaimer, that you understand MKS is a coordination service and not a medical provider, and that you accept the inherent risks of any medical or surgical procedure.
