Hospital Selection

How we verify every facility.

Four categories. Thirty-nine verification criteria. On-site inspections. No exceptions.

The Standard We Apply

Specialists matter. So do their facilities.

A skilled surgeon working in an unsafe environment is still a risk. Before any patient enters a hospital, we conduct 39 verification checks — on site.

Document review. Equipment inspection. Staff interviews. Emergency drill witness.

Our 4-Category Hospital Verification

Four categories. Thirty-nine criteria.

Each category shows the specific criteria reviewed during initial inspection and re-audited annually.

  • Blood test and EKG cardiac screening on site
  • Anesthesia consultation protocol before any procedure
CT imaging equipment for pre-surgery planning
Pre-surgery imaging — CT scan capability at partner facility
How we verify: On-site inspection of the operating room. Document review of 12 months of maintenance records. Anesthesiologist credentials verified. Re-inspection annually.
Response Time (3 criteria)
  • 10-minute emergency protocol documented and posted
  • Anesthesiologist response time benchmarked
  • Emergency physician on-call coverage 24/7
Emergency Equipment (3 criteria)
  • Crash cart inventory checked monthly
  • Defibrillator function tested weekly
  • Emergency medications stocked and verified
Tertiary Hospital Transfer (2 criteria)
  • Nearest tertiary hospital identified — distance and transfer time documented
  • Direct transfer agreement and ambulance protocol confirmed
Emergency Drill Records (2 criteria)
  • Staff emergency drill frequency and participation log
  • Identified gaps and resolution records reviewed
The hardest test: What happens in the first ten minutes when something goes wrong? Every facility we use has a documented protocol — and a staff that has practiced it.
Recovery room with full nursing care
Partner facility — recovery room with overnight monitoring
Post-Op Monitoring (3 criteria)
  • Overnight monitoring availability with dedicated nursing
  • Pain management protocol documented
  • Vital signs documentation reviewed
Direct Access to Operating Specialist (3 criteria)
  • Direct line to the operating specialist (not front desk)
  • 24/7 emergency contact verified and tested

SAMBO VENTEC HB-701 hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber
Aftercare — hyperbaric oxygen therapy for recovery support
After-Return Care (3 criteria)
  • Telemedicine follow-up capability for international patients
  • Multilingual communication support (English, Bahasa, Mandarin)
  • Local doctor referral network — in case of complications after return
What we look for: Does the patient have direct access to the specialist — not just the front desk — after surgery? And once back home, is there a clear protocol if something doesn't feel right?
Patient Information Protection (3 criteria)
  • Information storage security and encryption verified
  • Access control policies — who can view, what, when
  • Staff confidentiality training and signed agreements
Photo / Video Policy (2 criteria)
  • Written consent requirement before any photography
  • No marketing use without explicit written approval
Our Contractual Clause (3 criteria)
  • Hospital signs our privacy protection clause — not their standard contract, ours
  • Defined penalties for breach
  • Annual compliance review built into the agreement
Our contract — not theirs: Before sending any patient to a facility, the hospital signs our patient information protection clause. This is not negotiable. It is what protects you when you return home.
Verification in Practice

This is not paper. This is the work.

Every check above is performed on site, with real documents, real staff interviews, and real equipment inspection.

No facility joins our network based on a brochure or a sales pitch. We have walked through every operating room. We have read every maintenance log. We have signed every privacy contract.

What we see
that visitors don't.

Observations from forty-plus on-site inspections — the receptionist's memory, the hallway's footsteps, the aftercare room that tells the truth.
